Food Poisioning

Sun Aug 12, 2007, 7:34 PM
In order for one to grow from one stage to another, it is necessary to receive proper nutrition. The nutrients nourish the various stages that can be encountered. More often than not, focus is placed on one’s physical stage. It is important to take care of the physical well being; however, the lack of nutrients given to our mental development is extremely damaging.

The lack of brain food stems from the messages that people encounter, will encounter, or have encountered on a daily basis. These instances may be consciously or subconsciously. By being exposed to the large amount of ignorance that exists in society, it is easy to understand why a significant portion of society’s mental state grows at a significantly low level.

By being subject to this debacle of programming, we are food poisoned. We are exposed to advertising that is not intended to be healthy for the mind but as a means of preventing people from thinking about anything. If you preoccupy the mind with endless hours of thought free entertainment programming, one’s thoughts are going to reflect entertainment programming. By doing this, a disproportionate percentage of people today and people in the future will suffer from mental stagnation stemming from their food poisoning.

:iconusedlotofhell:
I normal watch three shows a week.
Gundam Seed Destiny
Gambling Scams: Best Of
and a real life CSI show.

My mom and sister only watch Animal Planet.

My dad is the only one in my house that could be "food poisoned" as he watches so much TV.
:iconstolenbreath:
I usually watch something thought provoking or something that would teach me, like some of the stuff on The Learn Channel, Discovery and History Channel. Current TV is thought provoking.
